Victims of Crime Act- Advocacy for Crime Victims
The Victims of Crime Act Program (VOCA) provides advocacy and support services to all identifying as past or current, reported or unreported, victims of crime. VOCA assesses victims’ situations and helps identify next steps. The program links you with resources to provide you with on-going or short-term support to address any needs related to having survived a crime. VOCA can help access the criminal justice system if appropriate and victims’ compensation fund if eligible.
People We Serve
VOCA serves crime victims within the entire East Bay area as well as Pawtucket and Central Falls with basic needs support, counseling support, and education to prevent further victimization.
Location(s) of the Program
Although the office is located in East Providence, EBCAP’s VOCA program serves all East Bay (RI) residents.
