Early Childhood Education Paid Internships – Newport
Head Start is presently offering a paid internship opportunity for people over 18 with a high school diploma who would like to begin a career in Early Childhood Education. Earn while you learn in this program lasting 9-weeks/180 hours. After successful completion, participants are encouraged to apply for an entry level job with our Head Start. East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is committed to assisting students over the age of 18 in enhancing their academic studies with valuable work experiences through its internship programs. EBCAP has relationships with colleges, universities, and trade organizations for students to obtain related and/or required experience in their chosen field.
Internships may be available in Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health Services, Administrative, Communications/Development, Information Technology/Systems, Early Childhood Education and/or Social Services.
This program offers students supervision and structured guidance from our professional staff, while our staff gain new insights from interns, all with the goal in improving service to clients.
