Administrative Assistant/Project Manager (EBCAP0113)

 East Bay Center a division of East Bay Community Action Program is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant/Project Manager for Behavioral Health Services in our East Providence, RI location. The Administrative Assistant/Project Manager will provide administrative support, organize and monitor projects as assigned by the Vice President of Behavioral Health.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and monitor projects as assigned by the Vice President of Behavioral Health.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Vice President of Behavioral Health including: scheduling and coordinating meetings, composing and editing correspondence, responding to telephone calls and determining appropriate action.
  • Assist the Vice President of Behavioral Health in the collection and formatting of data for periodic reports, etc.
  • Assist various clinical and/or administrative departments to review/revamp/develop clinical and administrative forms. Provide technical assistance to the Quality Improvement Department to maintain an up-to-date inventory of forms, coordinate with essential authors to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards, and ensure that orders/re-orders out consistent with need and usage.
  • Monitor contracts for responsibilities and expiration dates and ensures that appropriate personnel are notified when renewals are required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in an Administrative or Secretarial field, or a minimum of four (4) years related experience/training.
  • A valid driver’s license and automobile insurance is required for travel between sites.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Successfully complete all required training and certifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
