Parenting Wisely -
(Feb. 22- March 29, 2011)
Parenting Wisely, a 6-week parent education training series, will take place on Tuesdays from 2:30-4:00 p.m from February 22- March 29, 2011. Co-sponsored by the East Bay Family Care Community Partnership, Child & Family, East Bay Community Action Program and Parent Support Network of Rhode Island, this training series is designed to strengthen the learning of skills for raising young children, ages 3-10. It will support parents on ways to: discipline effectively and fairly, explain what you expect from your child, explain rewards and consequences of behavior to your child, and let your child know you hear him/her and you're trying to understand.
