Outreach Therapist
Human Services-Outreach Therapist wanted to work for a non-profit agency providing services to adolescents and families in Newport County. The therapist will conduct intakes with youth and their families as it relates to the Youth Diversionary and Wayward Program. The position may also include providing a student assistance program to targeted schools. Responsibilities will include engaging youth, formulating treatment plans and providing therapy with the goal of improving client and family functioning as well as diverting more serious interventions, facilitating psycho-educational groups as needed and providing case management services in order to ensure coordinated and appropriate ancillary services. Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field required plus counseling experience working with youth. This position will involve some evening hours to meet client need. This position is Part Time.
